Tamara & Martin got in touch only 2 weeks before their marriage – we are very glad they did! This city wedding was a stylish affair, from the guests to the decor and even the venue itself. The Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow is a phenomenal venue, the lighting in this place is just great. This was one of the very first weddings we shot back in February and it very much remains a personal favourite of mine and many others.
Where did you find inspiration for your wedding?
Our inspiration was the venue, we fell in love with it and so the wedding dress, theme, colours etc all formed around that. We went for a 20s style which felt right with the surroundings.
Why did you choose your venue?
We chose the venue as it felt just right, we liked the vintage, shabby chic feel and the bulb lights and balcony. It is just magical.
Why did to choose to use a wedding videographer for your wedding in Glasgow?
We wanted a video so that we could take everything in afterwards. To be honest, the day went so quickly and it was just perfect to have something to remember all the details. Plus, we got to see some pretty awesome dance moves when people thought that no-one was watching.
What was your favourite part in your highlight film?
There are so many favourite parts of the highlight film, it just captures the whole day in a short film, it is perfect for watching again.
Any tips for future Brides and Grooms?
Try to take the day in as much as possible, it all feels like a dream, like you aren’t actually even there, taking some time to be alone together and just realise what is happening is quite a special thing to do.
